Is there a good place for tools on marsh Barton, I'm sure theres loads but I don't know of any. What I need is an extended spline bit socket. Cheers :)!

Kennys cash and carry in Cofton road is always my first stop, especially for single sockets etc. Failing that, ALS have catalogues full of tools but will probably have to order them in.

12mm, I've already got 1 on a 1/2" drive socket but it's not long enough/too wide to get the head bolts on my mk2 16v, first line of them is fine but the second line are in a bit of a tight spot so need a slightly extended one, or even one on a 3/8" drive might do as it's the socket itself that gets in the way.

Army surplus in Bakers Yard, hardcore tools!! I've had sockets sets, extension bars and UJs, pry bars, torx sets, a machete, allsorts

Some toolstation and screwfix stuff is ok, as is machine mart

For cheap crappy tools that don't really last. Makro always has hell of a variety of tools. :D

I like the sound of the army surplus though!

If you do, wander through the arch to Brooks Basics, loads of interesting stuff that comes in useful, I've never gone in and not bought anything
