Hi all,

I know there are many posts and build threads on the net regarding this but im struggling to understand what options I have. I know G60 brackets will work and also early (99) Passat 1.8 /1.6 rear engine bracket can be used to help keep the engine level but I'm struggling to find the parts at breakers, ebay etc..

I have a AUQ 20VT engine mated to a 02J (5spd) gearbox going into a late 91 Mk2 GTi 8v using the standard Mk2 subframe.

I'm using G60 engine mounts.

Any other options would be helpful ?

thanks

Geoff

The engine and gearbox brackets from a corrado 16v will work, I'm using them in combination with mk2 vibratechnics mounts and the engine sits nice and level
