brakes and suspension id say, get it handling well as theres no point in having loads of power and then not being able to use it.

190 bhp isn't that much unless its in something very light, i had a 190 Celica and that was ok but got totally torn apart by a 180 bhp Starlet Turbo! With the weight yours is packing you will need serious transplantage to get it moving fast

Doesn't need to be silly fast to be a decent sleeper! The passat manages to embarass a few cars and that's only packing 195bhp (maybe a couple more now  ) Maybe worth thinking about a quiet stainless (I've just had a Milltek discrete put on mine, really quiet! vid in my thread in members rides) bigger turbo and front mount intercooler? Should pack a decent punch then!

Big turbo, front mount and a vented number plate so the cooler gets more air but is hidden

All depends on how much Boost you want to run.

Have a look and see what comes in the Jabba and JBS basic kits for a rough idea

Search egay for passat k04. There are companies which put the k04 internals in the k03 passat turbos and call them something like a k04-1s or something?? Can't remember to be honest! I was looking the other day, that, with a map, stainless, FMIC etc should see around 250bhp, which isn't gonna set any land speed records, but will still surprise alot of people!

I was out for a drive the other day with Neet (neet neet on here) and we pulled over to do a 0-60 run. I have a boot full of crap, plus me (I'm not called big si for nothing!) and mine managed it in 7.8 seconds! Not bad for a car the size of Cambodia!

If you want to go silly fast then a Passat is definitely not the right car for you! If however, like me, you want something, comfy, cool, but still don't hang around then you're on to a winner!

Sorry for the essay!
